Our History
1963
Manny and Richard Schwartz opened one of the first shower door manufacturers in Long Island, New York.
1984
Anticipating a change in industry tastes, Quality Enclosures begins to offer heavy 3/8” glass as an option for its shower enclosures.
1989
Manny’s son Michael Schwartz takes a leadership role at the Islip facility in Long Island; Manny and his son Steve move to Sarasota, Florida.
1991
Manny and Steve open a second Quality Enclosures location in Sarasota, Florida.
1997
Manny Schwartz retires, leaving Michael to lead the Islip location and Steve to lead the Sarasota location.
2003
Quality Enclosures begins a series of expansions throughout the eastern United States over the next 10 years, opening facilities in Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina.
2009
Quality Enclosures opens its own tempering facilities in Port Orange, Florida.
2012
Quality Enclosures opens its own tempering facilities in Ronkonkoma, New York.
2019
Quality Enclosures opens its own tempering facilities in Albemarle, North Carolina.
